ABOUT US
King's Parade is based around three cousins, Shane, Wade & Joel. Growing up in a musical family, a relaxed Sunday afternoon jam with aunties and uncles was never uncommon, and it wasn’t long before we picked up our instruments to accompany and sing along with them.
Moving from the living room to the performing stage, we have loved playing at various parties and functions. It started with different family events, local presentation nights and friends' parties, and now we are ready to take it further and share our music with you all.
While we love playing together, we have also started branching out into our own solo ventures. Shane is also known for his work with SDK Music, while Wade has gone into the DJ business with Maverick Beats.
King's Parade is a reference to the street where Shane & Joel both received singing lessons from our older cousin, Marten Visser, who very much led the way for us in all our music. Not only that, but it ties back to the true King who we celebrate and play for, Jesus Christ.
