Shane de Kretser is a soulful guitarist/vocalist who is passionate about delivering quality music to all who listen. Whether at a formal function, or a relaxed outdoor gathering, Shane will set the vibe and entertain guests of all ages. He is inspired by artists such as John Mayer, JP Cooper and Ed Sheeran, who have all shaped the way Shane plays and performs.   

Shane has been playing guitar and singing since the age of 11, and taught himself keyboard shortly after. He has played at various events and will tailor the setlist and musical taste according to the function. Shane believes in the power and sacred nature of music. He loves expressing himself through this creative avenue and is willing to do so in whatever context arises!

​We just wanted some low-key back ground guitar music and a couple of songs to help us celebrate our company's 15th Anniversary at the Sky High restaurant in Mt Dandenong. Shane provided a great atmosphere with his acoustic guitar playing and entertained us with a couple of great songs. He can do it all – play guitar, sing and capture the mood of the evening. He was very unassuming and just blended in beautifully; helping to make our event a real success.
